BRIDGET CHIINZE

DEI Data Analyst

Bridget Chiinze graduated with a Master of Science in Data Science, with a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from University of St. Thomas, Minnesota (2022). She is conversant with, R, SQL, Python, MATLAB, Tableau, PowerBl, Alteryx, GenTax, SAP and Microsoft Office. Since moving to the United States in 2017, Bridget developed an interest in business intelligence and pursued a certification in the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition. She is currently working as a Data Analyst utilizing her analytical and technical expertise to provide insightful metrics that inform data driven actionable decisions. She previously worked as an Audit Financial Analyst. In this role she researched, analyzed, and interpreted federal and state tax laws and regulations to recognize and resolve tax issues along with meeting compliance requirements. Bridget was also a Diversity and Inclusion Lead. In this role she worked to advocate, strengthen, and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion for people from diverse backgrounds through awareness and policy integration.

JEFYNE TOGBA

Project Management, PMP

With nearly fifteen years of experience, Jefyne is a seasoned project manager who holds a PMP credential and Master's degree from Texas Southern University in Energy Finance. She holds vast experience in the public and private sectors. As a project manager, Jefyne has served clients in many different sectors, including but not limited to; oil and gas, agriculture, banking, manufacturing, and more. Her experience makes her multi-faceted in her approaches to providing solutions to her clients that are effective and results-driven. Her efforts expand internationally to supporting managing complex projects in West Africa. She has successfully built a reputation as a result and detailed-oriented professional that will get the work done on time and on budget.

IT Consultant

With over 10 years in the IT field, Britney Hull's passion is to help businesses leverage technology to provide value to their customers. She is owner of Airoz Digital is an elite IT and Digital Marketing company that fosters creativity and innovation. We utilize the latest technologies to supply customers with efficient results and products. Brittney received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from THE Fort Valley State University and Master's degree in Information Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She is a strong advocate for getting more women interested in technology and volunteers with programs like Big Brothers Big Sisters and Black Girls Code. Britney is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Internal Health Medical Doctor

Dr. Wheatonia Malekebu is a nonprofit Executive Director for Rebuilding Respect for Women (RRFW) and an adjunct professor with 11+ years of experience in administration. Recognized for streamlining organizational processes, aligning stakeholder objectives, and coordinating high-level events, she has a history of contributing directly to company growth and expansion throughout her career. She holds her Master of Science in Administration, focusing on Human Resource Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Doctor of Business Administration, from Walden University.

Dr. Grace Totoe is a remarkable individual who wears multiple hats - she is not only an accomplished entrepreneur but also serves as the medical director of Minneapolis Health Clinic and is the visionary behind the nonprofit Totoe Health Equity Project. Her mission is to promote health equity among minority communities, with a special focus on African immigrants. Through her clinic and nonprofit, she works tirelessly to bridge the healthcare disparities faced by these communities, emphasizing the importance of preventive care and lifestyle changes to combat chronic diseases. Dr. Totoe's educational background speaks volumes about her dedication to excellence. After completing her training in internal medicine at the prestigious Yale University Internal Medicine Primary Care Program at St. Mary's Hospital in CT, she pursued a fellowship in transfusion medicine at the University of Minnesota. Continuously seeking growth and knowledge, she holds business certifications from the esteemed Harvard Business Online School in health strategy and public leadership. Additionally, she is currently completing a course in racial disparities in health care and health economics, showcasing her commitment to staying informed on critical issues in the medical field.

JILLIAN GRANT

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Jillian Grant is the Program Coordinator of the Collegiate Recovery Program at North Carolina Central University. There she identifies and interfaces with campus and community partners, develops and manages outreach opportunities, and ensures program goals are met within a timely matter and within budget. She is a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate as well as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. Jillian earned a dual master's degree from NCCU in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling in December of 2021. She is also a 2020 MFP-Addictions counseling fellow with the National Board of Certified Counselors. Her future goals are to create reform in educational systems for addictions. Her special interests and niche include studying family systems and working with children and minorities. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and listening to live music.

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Joyce Nyirenda is an ordained Evangelist and Elder and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). She has been licensed for over 10 years and has served in various positions in ministry for over 35 years. As a counselor, Joyce uses various approaches in working with her clients such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) In recent months, she has experienced an intense desire to help young families become successful in their marriages, as parents and professionals. Joyce is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Behavioral Health (DBH) at Arizona State University intending to graduate in 2024! Her goal is to assist organizations that seek to integrate behavioral and medical health so they can effectively guide their patients in attaining evidence-based strategies to effectively manage chronic conditions.

DR. S MIATA GETAWEH

Senior Human Resource Professional

Dr. S. Miata Getaweh, VP of HR at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and Executive Director of the African Immigrant Professional Development Conference, boasts over a decade of strategic HR expertise. A key organizer of the conference, she fosters connections between African immigrants and employers. At LSS, Dr. Getaweh leads the Pan African Employee Resource Group, spearheading impactful initiatives like a statewide mentorship program. Beyond LSS, she champions community service, collaborating with organizations like Best Buy and Land O'Lakes. A recipient of Bethel University's Top 4 under 40 Alumni and recognized by Twin Cities Business Journal, Dr. Getaweh's leadership and dedication resonate at both organizational and community levels.

TANYA CLARKE

Human Resources

Tanya Clarke, MHA, SHRM-CP is the Chief Human Resources Officer where she provides leadership building and maintaining organizational excellence across the full spectrum of Human Resources services, including organizational training and development, talent recruitment and management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, HR systems, analytics, and reporting. She graduated from Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey, where she earned her Bachelors in Public Health and Communication and her Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Felician University. Tanya has over ten years' experience in Human Resources Healthcare where she has gained valuable knowledge to support Cultural & Diversity strategies and retention initiatives. Tanya is a SHRM certified professional, a member of Society of Human Resources Management, and completed certification in Project Management from Ramapo College of New Jersey. In addition to her accomplishments, she is a highly motivated Human Resources professional with excellent planning and management skills. She is effective at leading organizational change and achieving business results while building relationships at all levels in the organization.

JENNIFER JOHNSON

Executive Coach & HR Consultant

With over 30 years in Human Resources as a strategic HR Business Partner and other roles with companies like Medtronic, United Health Group, University of Minnesota and Marriott Hotels, Jennifer strongly believes that there is a competitive advantage for leaders. Jennifer's practice includes facilitating teams in vision and strategy sessions, executive coaching, business leader thought partnership, leadership and team development, and mediating conflicts. Jennifer has a strong passion for helping people discover a better future state. She enjoys meeting with leaders and their teams to work through intentionally creating a stronger future for their business.

Johniqua Williams, Ed.D., serves as the Associate Vice President for the Division of Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Development, and Inclusive Excellence at Kennesaw State University. Dr. Williams holds a Doctor of Education degree from Columbus State University, a Master of Higher Education from Central Michigan University, and obtained her undergraduate degree from Johnson C. Smith University, an esteemed HBCU in Charlotte, North Carolina. With a career spanning over 18 years in diversity and inclusion, Dr. Williams brings a collaborative and purposeful approach to fostering inclusive environments. She champions the creation of synergistic relationships and development opportunities between diverse stakeholders. In 2020, Dr. Williams launched Divine Inclusion, a diversity consulting company dedicated to articulating the case for diversity and inclusion while developing strategies for inclusive practices. Through Divine Inclusion, she offers customized training programs designed to promote inclusivity in the workplace. Dr. Williams also shares her proprietary knowledge and best practices, educating and empowering leaders to enact meaningful change within their organizations. Combining her academic expertise, professional experience, and entrepreneurial spirit, Dr. Johniqua Williams continues to be a driving force in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within educational institutions and beyond.

KOBENA-MARCUS COLLINS

Kobena-Marcus J. Collins is a distinguished professional in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), holding multiple certifications in DEl, marketing, and leadership. With over a decade of dedication to DEIB advocacy since 2008, Kobena's passion is deeply rooted in his upbringing within a diverse household and enriched by global exposure—having traveled to 10 countries in a single semester. Known for his servant-leadership and adaptability, Kobena has made a significant mark in diversity recruitment, establishing a national reputation as both a relationship manager and DEIB expert. His influence is highlighted by appearances on platforms such as the Uplifting Impact podcast and the CEB Summit 2020. Kobena played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for diversity and inclusion initiatives at Kohl's corporate offices, positively impacting over 100,000 associates. In addition to his consulting work, Kobena serves as an instructor for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education Leadership Certificate program, where he primarily facilitates courses on Foundations of Leadership and Leading into Psychological Safety. His leadership and commitment to fostering inclusive spaces were further recognized through his mayoral appointment to the City of Milwaukee's Board of Commissioners. Currently, Kobena serves as the Diversity Recruiter for the City of Milwaukee while managing his consulting firm, Traveler Consulting. Chue transitioned and became an entrepreneur and launched his own firm, Spiritfolk. Spiritfolk is an independent studio. Chue brings over ten years of industry experience as an art director, photographer, designer, and filmmaker.

In addition to this role, he serves as a Sales Manager at North Highland, a top consulting firm. Michael's passion lies in creative storytelling, utilizing videography, photography, and design to transform concepts into compelling visual narratives that leave a lasting mark. Over the years, he has worked with diverse clients, from on-profits to local restaurants, freelance consultants music artists, Fortune 500 companies, and acting studios capturing their craft through his lens and enhancing their online presence.

Reubenna Cooley is a seasoned human resources leader with years of experience driving strategic HR initiatives across nonprofit and mission-driven organizations. Her expertise spans talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development, with a strong emphasis on equity, inclusion, and leadership development. She has successfully led HR functions for non-profit organizations where she built and scaled HR infrastructure, facilitated leadership training, and championed inclusive workplace culture. Reubenna is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and a trained facilitator in Intercultural Conflict Styles (ICS), bringing a thoughtful, culturally responsive lens to her work.
